What your AI can do
Permissions, confirmations and limits for an AI connected to Route Royal.
A connected AI works for you, inside the limits you already have in Route Royal.
It works as you
Signed in, your AI works in the organisation you chose, with your role’s permissions. If you can’t see or change something in Route Royal, neither can your AI. A member whose role only reads connects an AI that only reads.
It can ask before it changes anything
Every tool tells your AI whether it reads, changes something or reaches outside Route Royal, such as sending a message or publishing. Your AI can use this to ask you before it acts. Q always waits for you to confirm.
A key reads unless you give it more
A key you create for a tool like Cursor can only read and search, unless you choose more. You can choose the kinds of tool it may use, or name the tools one by one.
A change is never made twice
A tool that changes something takes a key for that operation. If an answer is lost and your AI tries again, the change is not made a second time.
Agencies and their clients
An agency works for a client only through a service grant the client has accepted, and only with the permissions that are both in the grant and in the agency member’s own role.
Limits
Requests are rate limited by the kind of tool, per minute and per session. If a limit is reached, your AI is told when to try again.
Where the tools are described
The server describes every tool to your AI as it connects: its name, what it does, what it needs and whether it reads or changes something. There is no separate public reference.
